Hello Radhames, we have a very nice gi program that is taught every Saturday. We just had four instructors travel to Brazil and train for a month and upon their arrival, did a free gi seminar at our gym. We are more focused on MMA / no-gi submission grappling. With respect towards no-gi competition, we have a very successful team. For the ADCC, we have sent FOUR competitors: Marcos Avellan, David Avellan, Rima Avellan, and Enrico Cocco. There is a website we made dedicated to ADCC, which is www.FFAinADCC.com . I think it needs to be updated with the results from Barcelona... which were great for our team, David Avellan finished 3rd in the World under 88kg. If you are looking to compete in grappling events, FFA is a great place to be. Enrico Cocco will be competing in the upcoming Budweiser Cup in Charlotte next month. If you are into MMA, we have a very busy team as well, you can see the training sessions at www.youtube.com/TeamFFA
At this moment we have UFC fighter Tom Lawlor training here for a week in preparation for his upcoming UFC fight versus Aaron Simpson.

About Team Lloyd Irvin, we are definitely brother schools. We are not officially under the same flag but Master Lloyd and Master Marcos are best friends. Master Marcos refers to Master Lloyd as his brother, plus one of our instructors, Coach Mike Bernhard, teaches at a Lloyd Irvin affiliate in Third Law BJJ.

Radhames, please email me directly at info@FFAgyms.com and send me your phone so I can answer any other questions you may have.

Best Regards,

Hey there! I watch all the vlogs and see all the great things you guys have going in Florida. Im not a native of Florida but was thinking of moving down there within the next year. So I have a few questions. First I would like to say that it is my dream to become a BJJ world champion, and also be a great nogi competitor. I want to join a strong, precise team who plans on being the best with everything.

Besides Enrico and David Avellan I havent seen too much emphasis on BJJ with the gi in the vlogs you guys post, which leads me to believe that FFA is more MMA/Submission Wrestling orientated, am i right to think this way ?
If im wrong, what tournaments besides NAGA's and GQ's do you guys attend ?

Are you guys a Team LLoyd Irvin affiliate ?

Do you have any programs for people looking to move to Florida for training ?

Thanks again for answering my email, and for your time.
