FFA Boxing in Cuba – Part 1: Arrival and Training
July 19, 2010A squad of FFA fighters and instructors left to Cuba to train boxing for a month! Last year our MMA instructors traveled to Thailand for a month of Muay Thai Kickboxing, a month to Brazil to train Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ), and now a month boxing in Cuba! Our instructors do this to bring home the best knowledge of the martial arts for our students. For instance, this month’s training curriculum for striking is straight from what we learned in Cuba. Our Cuban boxing trainer has trained Olympians and Jason even got to spar with an Olympic Bronze Medalist!
