Joe Ray and FFA Fight Team in the Newspaper!
October 14, 2008Freestyle Fighting Academy is proud to announce that Joe Ray has brought home our first kickboxing title belt! Joe Ray, 6-0, won the main event this past weekend in dramatic fashion by 4th round TKO! Joe systematically dismantled his opponent – landing a barrage of kicks, knees, and punches! The most dramatic moment of the fight was in the third round, when Joe knocked out a couple of his opponent’s teeth with a powerful uppercut.

On the same card, we had our very own Denis “the Menace” Hernandez win his fight as well! Denis came out with amazing technique – slipping punches and countering with beuatiful combinations. This had to be Denis’ best performance yet, winning his fight by unanimous decision. Denis improved his record to 4-1 and will be fighting for the title next fight!
By the way… FFA’s kickboxing and boxing team has an impressive all-time record of 32-7!
